and Her "Art of Texas"

Born in Brazoria County, "Where Texas Began", this fifth generation Texas Cowgirl can shoot and ride with the best of ‘em. Not only can she handle horses, cattle, and guns….she can paint you a Texas sunset or cook a meal that will rival any on the range.
For the last few years, Shari Runnels Boykin, has been on the trail in Southeast Texas, with her Texas and Cowboy Heritage Programs for schools, libraries, and corporate events.
Traveling with either of her two chuck wagons, the full size 1890’s Owensboro, or the 1/2 scale Runnels wagon, she brings frontier Texas alive for students, and historians alike.
As an artist, she works in mediums from leather to antler. Shari’s award winning artwork has been seen in publications such as, “Texas Monthly” and the “Texas Parks & Wildlife Gift Catalog”. This multi-talented Cowgirl, can make anything from chaps to cuffs, or spur straps to antler art.
Cat Claw Roses’ Cowboy Cowch Art, will also brighten up your bunkhouse.
